For me, summer is more than a season...it is a feeling. Just the thought of summer invites a bunch of memories that involve endless hours of playing with friends, forgetting to come back home as most of the time is spent outside, eating seasonal fruits like mangoes and berries, and not worrying about homework. Summer is a feeling where all the worries melt. Many of us might associate summer with ice-cream trucks, fruit picking, hiking, road trips, and beach days. Through these associations, we realize that summer gives us so many opportunities to explore, enjoy and just let go. After the dark months of winter, summer gives us new vigor and inspiration to get out of our comfort zones. The nurturing sunlight allows us to soak in the energy which we hope to sustain us through winter. Most importantly, it inspires us to be a child again where fears and anxiety just vanish in the sunlight.
